Dear Colleagues,

I want to thank all of the educators who attended or presented at the 6th Annual Just Read, Florida! Leadership Conference. Many participants commented that they were energized by the presentations that they attended, and I sincerely hope that each of you found the conference to be beneficial and relevant to your learning needs. We have already begun the planning process for the 2008 conference and will inform you as soon as dates are finalized. Thank you for all that you do daily in providing on-going visionary leadership in the implementation of your K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plans. The importance of leadership cannot be overstated in an environment where the goal is that every student becomes a successful reader.
